Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking an experienced Complex Litigation Legal Assistant to join their client's team and support attorneys handling complex commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will manage multiple litigation matters and provide comprehensive legal support from inception through trial and appeal.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive legal assistant support in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Manage large-scale discovery, including document review, production, and coordination with e-discovery vendors
Assist with deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation (including exhibits, witness binders, and chronologies)
Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines; ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
Perform legal research and factual investigation as needed

Required

Minimum 4+ years of experience as a complex litigation legal assistant or litigation paralegal handling complex commercial litigation matters
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
Experience with e-filing systems and litigation support software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines

Preferred

Paralegal certificate or relevant degree
