Custodial Team Lead

Columbus Community Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with disabilities through various services. The Custodial Team Lead is responsible for coordinating operations, supervising staff, and ensuring quality control across multiple contract sites.

Responsibilities

Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations
Supervise employees and help delegate operations schedule to ensure proper coverage
Evaluates the performance of personnel and inspects assigned areas to ensure proper work performance. This requires hands-on support and the ability to perform work when necessary
Find and define problems, resolve issues, and use these in making appropriate recommendations to management, staff, and/or customer contact to exercise continuous quality improvement and exceed customer expectations
Tracks and evaluates purchasing activities, supply and equipment usage, and repairs
Ensures appropriate labeling, dilution, and storage requirements are met by the company, customer, and OSHA standards
On-the-job training for staff/employees on job-specific tasks
Participates in company and customer training, ensuring effective communication and distribution of information to supervisors, customers, and employees
Ensures customer standards are met
Assists personnel in ensuring all tasks are completed promptly
Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of the establishment for program compliance, i.e., safety, quality, and service
Audits and maintains equipment
Implements and communicates organization policies and goals to direct reports

Required

Three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in managing small crews
This position requires driving as part of the job duties
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
