New GradConvention of States is seeking a Volunteer Researcher to join their Development team. The role involves identifying and managing donor prospects through data compilation and analysis while ensuring accurate data entry.

Responsibilities
Researches the contact information, biographical information, and political giving history of potential new donors and existing donors
Completes one-off research tasks as assigned
Adds new profile accounts for prospects/potential donors into Salesforce
Performs prospect mining in FEC files to find and evaluate new prospects
Performs weekly audit of check deposits for accuracy and correct accounting
Other related duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong research and analytical skills
Experience with databases and DMS systems (Salesforce preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and research tools like the FEC database, FollowTheMoney, FreePeopleSearch, TruePeopleSearch, Spokeo.com, Melissa search, Hunter.io, Smarty.com, etc. (proficiency in all tools is not required)
Excellent written communication and report writing abilities
