New Grad, Entry LevelHyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Convention Services Set Up Supervisor to oversee the set-up and break down of event spaces. This role involves ensuring all meeting spaces are arranged to guest satisfaction and requires strong communication skills and physical activity.

Responsibilities
Supervise and assist Convention Services Set Up Attendants with setting rooms according to the event specifications and with clean up and break-down after events
Assist with planning, organization and execution of all event functions
Greet clients/guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Participate in and lead department meetings, as needed
Ensure each meeting space is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
Confirm room set up requirements including layout specifications, equipment needs, and any special instructions
Break down and remove all equipment at the end of each event, returning items to their proper storage locations
Abide by all organizational policies and procedures
Must be available to work evening shifts and support a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment regularly
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and adapt well to daily changes
Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks
Must be able to communicate well with both internal and external guests
Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
Preferred
High school diploma preferred
Prior hotel or event setup experience preferred
Previous leadership preferred, but will train the right candidate
