Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location
Control entry and exit for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining security-related logs
Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries by coordinating with receiving staff, confirming appointments, and conducting visual checks of vehicles, trailers, and packages as permitted by site policy
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site management and/or dispatch and completing required documentation
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, dock areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related hazards or irregular activity
Qualification
Required
An armed guard card/license is required
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
