The role involves defining enterprise-wide technology strategy, modernizing application ecosystems, and guiding cloud and mobile transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, secure, and resilient application architectures (monolith to microservices, APIs, event-driven systems)
Provide architectural governance and review across web and mobile applications
Ensure consistency in application development standards, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Lead and architect Azure to GCP migration strategies (rehost, refactor, re-platform, rebuild)
Design GCP-native architectures leveraging services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and IAM
Define cloud security, networking, identity, and cost-optimization models
Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure successful migration execution
Guide architecture for iOS, Android, and cross-platform mobile apps (Flutter, React Native, etc.)
Define backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns and mobile API strategies
Ensure performance, scalability, offline capability, and security best practices for mobile ecosystems

Required

10+ years in application development / architecture, with enterprise-scale systems
Proven experience leading cloud migration projects from Azure to GCP
Strong knowledge of GCP services and cloud-native design patterns
Azure architecture (for migration and coexistence scenarios)
Microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures
Mobile app architectures and backend integration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Strong understanding of security, compliance, and identity management
