Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of audio visual equipment, including the overall operation, configuration, and maintenance of audio visual equipment
Creates, facilitates, and maintains organizational systems for equipment, recordings, and archival files. Trains staff on systems to ensure adherence
Supervises staff, including hiring, distributing and reviewing work, performance reviews, and documenting disciplinary actions and other human resource administration. Manages work schedules and approves timecards. Provides professional development opportunities
Maintains budgetary adherence; assists in budget development. Prepares timely reports
Adjusts equipment as necessary; performs editing and other audio visual preparations
Monitors equipment and usage. Suggests improvements as related
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience
Extensive knowledge on a wide range of technical (audio/visual) equipment such as projectors, sound systems, lighting
Proficient in live audio mixing
Ability to supervise staff, including hiring, distributing and reviewing work, performance reviews, and documenting disciplinary actions
Ability to maintain budgetary adherence and assist in budget development
Ability to create, facilitate, and maintain organizational systems for equipment, recordings, and archival files
Ability to monitor equipment and usage and suggest improvements
Heavy physical effort required, including extensive standing, moving, bending, lifting, and/or carrying
Ability to move objects over 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment
Ability to move between multiple buildings to complete setup of audio visual equipment
Ability to reach access points using a ladder or step stool
Successful completion of a background check
Completion of PA Act 153 clearances and background checks prior to commencement of employment
