Responsibilities
Iterate regularly with PM, product designers, engineers, and researchers to improve the content experience in our product
Help your collaborators define design problems and wrangle complexities with a content lens
Embrace relationships with other content-focused disciplines like Marketing and Customer Education
Showcase content design’s impact with regular collaborators as well as senior stakeholders (show up and show off!)
Help scale the 8am content design discipline by contributing to our style guide and design system
Share your toolbox: lead content design exercises to inspire design iterations and align teams
Lead and shape the content design strategy for accountant and fintech users
Support content design work for practice management experiences
Potentially assist in AI and agentic workflows as emerging technologies evolve at 8am
Qualification
Required
2-4 years in content design, UX writing, or content strategy, ideally with experience in SaaS or complex digital products
A portfolio showcasing user-centered content design work
Experience working closely with product designers, engineers, and researchers to shape the user experience
Strong writing skills: clear, concise, and adaptable to different tones and contexts
Strong design thinking skills
Comfortable balancing quick, tactical deliverables in addition to contributions to long-term content strategies
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation
