Responsibilities
Work with the functional and development teams to identify, document, and execute test cases
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing
Execute manual test cases for new features, edge cases, and scenarios where automation is not practical
Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability, performance, and reliability issues
Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and cases
Report, track, and verify defects using issue management systems
Partner with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Provide clear test documentation, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders
Advocate for quality engineering practices and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Develop, implement, and maintain testing best practices to enhance the quality of deliverables
Ensure adherence to testing standards and processes across all scrum teams
Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to adapt to project needs and technological advancements
Manage the maintenance and enhancement of the regression test suite to ensure ongoing product stability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, or a similar role
Strong experience with both automated and manual testing in an Agile/Scrum environment
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts
Proficiency with common test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or similar)
Experience executing manual test cases for new features and edge-cases
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA best practices
Experience analyzing requirements and user stories to create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Ability to clearly document test results, metrics, and quality reports
Strong collaboration skills with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams
