Start in 2026 SummerThe Museum of Modern Art is offering a Summer Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical experience in various museum departments. The intern will support the Retail department's long-range plan by conducting A/B test analyses, building predictive models, and assisting with inventory forecasting.

Responsibilities
Support the Retail, E-commerce and overall Retail department's long range plan to increase revenue
Tasks include e-commerce home page A/B Test Analysis, designing A/B test for home page optimization, calculating sample size, running significance tests, and presenting findings and recommendations
Support cart abandonment prediction by building models to identify users most likely to abandon their cart
Building an inventory forecasting tool that to predict inventory levels and recommend order quantities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of college completed (or equivalent) by June 2026
Foundational understanding of relational databases
Proficiency in SQL for extracting, cleansing, and aggregating data from large-scale datasets
Understanding of core statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and A/B testing
Ability to conduct comprehensive exploratory analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
Strong skills in building and explaining data through visualization tools like charts, graphs, and dashboards
Basic understanding of core retail concepts (merchandising, inventory/supply chain, marketing, ecommerce)
Demonstrated interest in applying Finance or Corporate Strategy skills to a museum setting
Current students or recent graduates of a Data Analytics or Business Administration program, with a concentration or experience in Consulting or Corporate Strategy
