Elior North America is seeking a Cash Accountant responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cash balances by managing daily cash activity and reconciling bank accounts. The role involves preparing journal entries, supporting month-end close, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Food and Beverage

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities
Investigate and resolve reconciling items such as timing differences, errors, and missing transactions
Support bank account management, including opening/closing accounts, maintaining signers, and managing online banking access
Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activity, fees, and corrections
Track outstanding checks, deposits in transit, ACHs, wires, and bank fees
Support month-end close by ensuring reconciliations are completed timely and accurately
Assist with audit requests and provide reconciliation documentation as needed
Partner with internal teams to improve cash processes and reconciliation efficiency
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in cash or bank reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel (reconciliations, lookups, basic analysis)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred

ERP experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar)
