Responsibilities

Develop and lead the TPM Strategies of the Bodyshop maintenance department in a fast paced, high volume, manufacturing environment
Coordinate (PSEDQC) People, Safety, Environment, Delivery, Quality, and Cost initiatives
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members regarding Scout Production System techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation
Possess a general level of technical understanding related to maintenance, time-based maintenance (TBM), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and dynamic maintenance (DM)
Influence the key performance indicators (KPI's), mean time between failure (MTBF) of components and equipment in their area, mean time to repair (MTTR), as well as maintaining equipment at basic conditions and continuous improvements of the equipment in their area
Actively participate and lead kaizen project activities centered on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvements and waste reduction opportunities
Train production operators on basic equipment care (autonomous maintenance)
Responsibly handling emergency situations
Reinforces compliance with LOTO and other safety programs, including audits and observation tours
Working closely with Spare Part storage to create TPM Baskets
Interfaces with counterparts in other departments of the Factory
Design and develop the CMMS system to implement a TPM strategy
Track budgets and report on Maintenance costs, PM effectiveness, labor hours, and operating budgets
Create maintenance schedules (preventive & predictive)
Plan and schedule downtime maintenance activities for condition-based repairs and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies
Maintain all process equipment per the OEM manufacturers’ recommendations
Maintain shop records and drawings
Develop projects that will support continuous improvement and increase production line efficiency

Required

Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc
5+ years of professional experience in automotive production, with expertise in achieving stable production processes and in-depth knowledge of Maintenance operations
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, and software systems
Ability to tactfully handle difficult situations
Technical understanding about Production equipment and Down time scheduling
Hands-on experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
