Responsibilities

Responsible for installations, maintenance, repairs, moves, re-configuration, and upgrades of personnel computers, computer hardware, VDI equipment, printers, software, and PC peripherals at our Central Office and remote locations as needed
Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory
Monitor agency help desk and emails to support user requests and record issues and resolutions with help desk ticket system
Create or update documentation used for solutions or administration needs for the IT support team or users
Responsible for the management of the agency's VoIP and cellular phone systems
The duties include ordering new and replacement phones, name changes, special phone system request, etc
Deployment of desktop, cellular, and cordless phones within Central Office and Regional Centers
Creating and maintaining documentation of equipment along with support documentation for admin team and end user
Training backup personnel to be able to fulfill the duties in the absence of the primary person
Maintain the accuracy of user accounts, permissions, and records throughout agency systems
Perform other duties as assigned by IT management

Required

A bachelor's degree and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems
Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis
A valid driver's license

Preferred

Moderate to complex knowledge of and skill in using a wide variety of applications, operating systems, protocols, and equipment used in customer organizations
Moderate to complex problem-solving skills
Moderate complex analytical skills
Ability to assist in presenting technical and non-technical reports in a clear and concise manner
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with customers, peers, vendors, and management
