$20/hr - $25/hrProAmpac is seeking a Continuous Improvement Intern to join their manufacturing team and contribute to cost savings and process efficiency improvements. This role involves hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and project execution, working closely with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities
Support cost savings and efficiency projects, including scrap reduction, throughput improvement, and new process development
Identify and help lead quick-win improvement opportunities (e.g., 5S initiatives, supplier cost savings)
Assist with project management by tracking action items, timelines, and deliverables
Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and time studies
Analyze data and prepare reports to track and communicate project progress and effectiveness
Collaborate with a wide range of personnel across manufacturing and engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Interest or experience in process improvement, problem solving, and data analysis
Preferred
Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Other engineering disciplines with a strong interest in continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving are encouraged to apply
Exposure (academic or practical) to continuous improvement or data analysis tools is a plus
