Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers overseeing engineering projects in various sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, construction, and manufacturing
Establish and maintain program governance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, drafters, field technicians, and asset managers, to ensure seamless project execution
Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and obstacles, and implement effective mitigation strategies
Develop and manage program schedules, resource allocation, and financial forecasts to ensure successful delivery of all projects
Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders
Oversee the adherence to industry standards, client requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle
Continuously improve program management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality
Report regularly to senior leadership on program status, key metrics, and critical issues
Partner with sales personnel to strategize portfolio growth and sales strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience managing complex engineering projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership or program management role
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects involving engineering best practices
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (such as PMI, Agile, or Lean)
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously across different industries
Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools
Willingness to travel as required for project oversight and stakeholder engagement
Preferred
advanced degree preferred
PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is highly desirable
