Program Coordinator

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the team at their Ray House adult residential program. This position provides system support to all direct care positions to meet and maintain the highest standard of client care and contributes to the agency’s mission through assisting the director in program oversight.

Responsibilities

Provides system support to all direct care positions to meet and maintain highest standard of client care
Assists the director in program oversight and provides some leadership to program direct service workers
Attends weekly program staff meetings and participates in other meetings as necessary

Qualification

Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1Mental health experienceHigh School DiplomaAssociateBachelor’s degreeDriving record

Required

High School Diploma required
Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check
Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list
If MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen
Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds
A good driving record is required

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
One to three years of experience in mental health field a plus
