As a Security Officer - Retail Vehicle Patrol Driver, you will conduct routine patrols and provide customer service while safeguarding clients in a retail environment.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to store associates, mall management, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, loitering, and other unwanted activity
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disruptive behavior, suspected shoplifting, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations
Monitor entrances, exits, stockroom or receiving areas, and high-traffic shopping zones, reporting suspicious activity and completing required documentation
Coordinate with on-site teams and local authorities as needed, assist with access control and key control per post orders, and support opening and closing procedures when assigned
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
