Responsibilities
Support research and development (R&D) at the Engineering Test Center
Work on a growing team of engineers and technicians
Encompass conceptual design, prototyping, and testing phases in support of Army, Air Force, and Navy programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electrical/circuits
1+ years experience in a prototype and test environment
Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working with instrumentation and using a control software like LabVIEW, Rockwell Automation, etc
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of test technicians, machinists, design engineers, and analysts
Experience developing and testing prototype hardware
Experience with CNC machinery and fabrication tools/processes
