Postdoctoral Researcher
Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Scholar to lead mechanistic research on vitamin A signaling and transport in the exocrine pancreas. Responsibilities
Design and execute innovative mechanistic studies in retinoid biology and pancreatitis
Lead and interpret data from genetic models, organ physiology, and omics based experiments
Collaborate across disciplines, including translational projects involving human cohorts
Prepare manuscripts for publication in high impact journals
Present findings at internal seminars and national and international scientific conferences
Promote grant submissions and future independent research directions
Qualification
Required
PhD or MD with extensive basic science training in retinoid biology, vitamin A metabolism, nuclear receptor signaling, or closely related fields
Strong background in molecular and cellular biology, animal models, or relevant omics technologies
Evidence of scientific productivity and strong potential for independent research
