Responsibilities
Design and implement computer and information networks
Maintaining and troubleshooting issues with McAfee proxies and F5 GSLBs
Performing Network Security Device management and maintenance utilizing Checkpoint CLI, R77, R80, and Fortinet firewalls
Troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructure including ACI, EVPN, and underlay routing protocols including OSPF, RIP, BGP, and Multicast issues
Troubleshooting various types of layers for core infrastructure and client connectivity
Documenting network outages and incidents
Performing TCP Dump on checkpoint firewalls to identify the root cause of connectivity issues between applications
Performing Rule tracing on McAfee proxies to troubleshoot issues related to Intranet, Internet, and server connectivity issues
Troubleshooting BGP and OSPF routing protocols for interdomain connectivity
Troubleshooting Spanning tree loops to restore connectivity across server farm
Setting up capture on specific application traffic in Cisco ACI environment to troubleshoot connectivity and router related issues
Performing Wireshark packet reading and analysis to identify issues related to any specific device or carrier
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field or equivalent
five (5) years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting issues with McAfee proxies and F5 GSLBs
performing Network Security Device management and maintenance utilizing Checkpoint CLI, R77, R80, and Fortinet firewalls
troubleshooting LAN/WAN infrastructure including ACI, EVPN, and underlay routing protocols including OSPF, RIP, BGP, and Multicast issues
troubleshooting various types of layers for core infrastructure and client connectivity
documenting network outages and incidents
