Responsibilities
Work closely with the State Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical actionable recommendations
Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points
Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business requirements
Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS
Design self-guiding workflows including guided navigation tooltips and contextual assistance for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments
Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards contextual help and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs
Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of Client business processes
Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios test cases and provide general assistance during testing activities
Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues enhancements and bug triage to review progress discuss solutions and align on priorities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
5+ years of experience working with Child Support systems
5+ years of experience working with financial operations such as receipts distribution disbursements recoupment and/or reconciliation
5+ years of experience with workflow design and system enhancement
5+ years of experience conducting Stakeholder Interviews
5+ years with SQL Querying
Bachelor's degree preference given to finance or IT degree
Prior state of federal client experience (2 yrs)
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager
Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodology
Preference for a degree in Finance or IT
