Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team
Assist in the technical design of large business systems
Build applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery
Research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions
Contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards
Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability
Contribute expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc
Guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

Experience in Core Java, Springboot and Microservices
Preferred
Minimum of 4 + years development experience within Proven experience as a Full Stack Java Developer or similar role, preferably involving the Struts framework and Agile methodologies
Understanding of design patterns
Experience with Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies
Experience with Java EE, Maven
Experience with Spring and other Java frameworks / open source libraries
Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions
Experience Web Services (REST/SOAP)
Experience with database applications such as Oracle, MySQL, DB2 as well as with SQL, JDBC and ORM tools
Experience providing sizing and scalability recommendations and solving connectivity and deployment issues
Experience deploying application servers in enterprise environments
Experience using Agile development methodologies
