Responsibilities
Design, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision
Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions
Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance
Identify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes
Apply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions
Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field)
Minimum four years of relevant product engineering or product design experience
Experience designing mechanical assemblies
Proficiency in engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Preferred
Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles
