Responsibilities
Conduct Daily Reconciliations and Remediate Breaks: Ensure the accuracy of the DAFs, GSPF and GSG, books and records versus custodian records. Liaise with Trading teams to remediate daily reconciliation differences and take corrective action when necessary
Perform Cash Controls: Receive, review, and process third-party vendor invoices in partnership with Accounts Payable. Monitor bank accounts for potential fraudulent activity. Coordinate with external custodians to close grant payment accounts and stop payments upon discovery of fraudulent activity. Review, process, and report on Charities’ expenses and budgets
Prepare Components of Regulatory Reporting: and tax filings for the Charities, including Form 990, Form 8282, FBAR, and other required reports. Assist in the preparation of financial statements for the Charities, including statements such as changes in net assets, net assets, and investment-related disclosures
Drive Organizational Change: Review existing team processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation or streamlining. Document requirements and partner with Engineering and Business Intelligence to implement operational efficiencies. Serve as a subject matter expert to external partners and efficiently communicate project updates to internal stakeholders
Control & Compliance: Ensure effective and consistent compliance with control procedures, risk controls, and high-quality assurance standards. Review, update, and create procedures for the Finance and Accounting area within Charitable Services
Senior Level Management Report & Daily Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports; run and analyze KRI / KPI metrics relating to team health. Update the books and records of the Charities for financial transactions and accounting entries. Responsible for the preparation and presentation of comprehensive quarterly financial reports to the DAF’s Board of Directors. This includes providing detailed analyses of the donor-advised fund's financial performance and activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
Preferred
Project management experience
Tax filing preparation experience
Finance and/or accounting experience
Cash management experience
Payment processing experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
