Quality Coordinator

Responsibilities

Lead, identify, analyze and implement process improvements with data-driven decisions to enhance quality
Audit manufacturing process and ensuring findings are addressed properly
Meet with production teams to share internal audit process findings and offering recommendations to address process deviations
Improve quality performance via Quality Plan implementation or similar tools
Support productions teams with disposition for non-conformities
Be the contact person and facilitate resolution of problems detected on shopfloor related to supplier quality, engineering and R&D
Conduct training on quality concepts
Assure manufacturing procedures compliance to requirements through monitoring manufacturing processes
Assure Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at assigned pilots in compliance with PDCA process
Design systems/processes by which production quality can be checked/verified in an ongoing manufacturing process
Support Customer Care team with investigation of failures detected at customer site
Support the Quality team with deployment to PFMEA and Lean Projects

Required

High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing role, preferably in manufacturing quality

Preferred

Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change
Excellent oral communication & report-writing skills
Understanding of Quality KPIs
Previous experience with PFMEA deployment is a plus
Understanding of Leader Standard Work for time management
Familiar with HV circuit breaker parts/materials requirements is a plus
