Responsibilities

Provide HSE support and leadership to and EPCM project at a client facility
Serve as a business partner working with the HSE Director, HSE Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager
Lead HSE excellence and deliver a project ensures no worker injuries or negative impacts to our client’s business continuity
Support BeyondZero performance that is inclusive of the Line of Business’ vision and strategic plans
Provide overall leadership, management and direction to the team and client assigned
Take personal ownership and responsibility for protecting people from harm and for driving strategies and performance while supporting continuous improvement
Own and maintain open communication with the HSE Director and HSE Manager as well as peer HSE team members
Provide technical resources guidance, to ensure alignment and to assure consistent implementation of HSE process tools that support project HSE strategic plans and objectives
Provide visible support and leadership to all client and stakeholders
Provide interpretation, training, technical review and support, regulatory guidance and governance oversight to ensure alignment and consistent implementation of the Jacobs HSE program
Lead/support incident notification, investigation and reporting process
Facilitate injury management and return to work process
Develop review subcontractor hazard assessments and deliverables
Participate as required in operational readiness reviews or other forums relevant to project success
Cater successfully to multiple task masters
Support of HSE staff in the field
Leadership and vision for Project and Construction Managers and other field staff
Develop a rapport, partnership, and a communication style which engenders confidence and trust with our client

Qualification

Required

HSE certification and/or associate degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field
A minimum of 6-7 years of demonstrated professional experience in a similar role in managing Construction Health and Safety
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated construction experience in managing subcontractors in Health and Safety in the Construction with demo
Experience with managing and conducting safety training
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills
Working knowledge in applicable regulatory compliance, as well as all federal, state and local agencies requirements
