Salary Range: $49,479.56 - $98,587.95
Subject to Salary Placement Rules
Applicant must be a US Citizen with a high school diploma or GED
Four (4) years of successful and appropriate occupational experience in the teaching area
A maximum of one (1) year of the required work experience may be satisfied by completion of an accredited occupational preparation program for the occupation to be taught
At least two (2) years of the occupational experience completed within the last five (5) years
Hold a professional teaching certification for the appropriate course code as listed under https://applications.education.ky.gov/SCCD/Home/Index
Meet Occupation-based teaching requirements (see attached Occupational Based CTE Requirements and Hiring Procedures document)
Issuance of one year Provisional Certificate; completion of three (3) semester hours of credit in the occupational area OR successfully completing the New Teacher Institute (NTI)
This position requires a Consultant certification (CA-27) in the area/grade span for which the certificate is requested
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the area/grade span is required by EPSB for the CA-27
Although the certificate is not required prior to being considered for this position, the CA-27 application will be initiated once a candidate is recommended for the position
A candidate with a Teacher Leader or Supervisor of Instruction endorsement can serve in any consultant role without additional certification
Interested candidates must complete both the JCPS employment application AND the attached 'CA-3 form.fill-in 3' document

Kentucky Certification and endorsements appropriate to the technical program assignment
