Responsibilities

Designing and building high-performance computer systems optimized for virtual reality, real-time data acquisition from multiple sources (electrophysiology, video, physiological sensors), and large-scale data analysis
Integrating diverse hardware and software into cohesive research platforms
Managing our lab’s local network, data storage, and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility
Troubleshooting technical issues across our research rigs to maximize experimental uptime
Other duties as assigned

Required

2+ years of experience of either technical support or programming/systems experience in end user computing applications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in end user computing applications and network-based PC/workstation systems, or relevant applicable experience
Demonstrated experience building, networking, and maintaining computer systems
An ability to work independently to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
A strong interest in applying technical skills to advance biomedical research

Preferred

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred
Microsoft Windows certification preferred
Proficiency in coding (MATLAB, Python, C#, and/or bash scripting) is a major plus but not required
