Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing engineering team by driving collaboration, growth, and accountability. Set clear goals, provide strategic direction, and develop talent to ensure long-term success
Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and technical excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical initiatives with business objectives while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and scalability
Drive efficiency through agile methodologies and engineering best practices, continuously refining workflows, tools, and processes. Use key performance metrics to measure success and optimize team productivity
Act as the bridge between engineering and other teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities. Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders and leadership
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative solutions that enhance product development and business growth. Advocate for new tools and strategies that drive efficiency, scalability, and long-term technical success
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a management role
Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a focus on driving performance and results
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong technical foundation with expertise in at least one of TypeScript/Node.js, Java/Kotlin, or Ruby on Rails
Experience working with AWS and Datadog
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Deep understanding of agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
A strategic and results-driven approach to engineering and team leadership
Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
