SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN)

Responsibilities
You will manage and supervise a complex team of scientists, engineers, IT specialists, and administrative specialists on various Center projects
You will provide technical, project management, and contract oversight of branch projects, as requested by the division head
You will communicate and enforce policies and procedures; resolving conduct and performance problems in collaboration with division leadership; recommending awards and promotions; providing technical and career guidance
You will involve the design, engineering, architecture, implementation and management of Information Technology (IT) systems
You will consult with customers to identify and specify requirements; defining systems scope and objectives; developing cost estimates for new or modified systems; ensuring the integration of all systems components

Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 or pay band NM-03 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing technical and project management oversight, demonstrating skill in executing systems engineering tasks for Command and Control (C2) systems; and applying knowledge of IT systems processes
