Responsibilities
Lead US-focused external communications, including brand positioning, media engagement, crisis communications and transaction-related activity
Partner with the global Communications team to deliver coordinated and consistent external messaging
Support the oversight and coordination of external PR agencies, particularly in the US
Contribute to broader marketing initiatives in collaboration with the team, with a particular focus on the US
Support activity across digital channels, events, video content and thought leadership
Work with the Communications & Marketing team to deliver clear and effective internal communications aligned with firm-wide priorities
Support ad hoc initiatives and projects as the communications function and wider business continue to evolve
Qualification
Required
Degree-qualified, with approximately 4–7 years' experience in a communications or PR role within financial services, such as a financial PR agency, alternative asset manager, investment bank or private equity firm
Broader exposure to areas such as media relations, internal communications, branding, marketing or strategic communications is advantageous
Able to operate with a high degree of independence while contributing effectively within a collaborative, global team
Confident, professional communicator with strong relationship-building capabilities
Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple priorities
Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable navigating new or ambiguous topics
Motivated to build a long-term career within the communications function of a leading global private equity firm
