Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist

Prime Data Centers is a private firm that develops, acquires, and operates data centers for large enterprises. They are seeking a Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist to support all aspects of the HR function, including payroll administration, benefits administration, new hire onboarding, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Prepare onboarding and offboarding documentation for new hires and exiting employees
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Process payroll semi-monthly for US and European based employees
Administer and track employee benefits enrollment and respond to basic inquiries
Assist in performance review and employee evaluation processes
Help enforce company policies and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Coordinate employee training sessions, staff meetings, and engagement activities
Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to Human Resources
Assist the accounting team with corporate card transaction review, vendor invoicing, and petty cash management
Support company events, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements

Required

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Experience: 3-5 years in an HR, payroll administration, or generalist role
Strong understanding of payroll administration and HR functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or payroll software is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Preferred

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance requirements
Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
