Responsibilities
Interpret and implement mechanical and control drawings and project documents
Program microprocessors for initial commissioning, tune of control loops and calibration of sensors
Commission operation of mechanical system equipment and sensors via the control system
Identify deficiencies with points, equipment, and systems
Set up and install communication devices for remote operations: PC’s, routers, switches, repeaters, VPN, etc
Coordinate with customer IT departments for data base connectivity, remote access, & other IT infrastructure needs
Ensure all as built and record drawings, sketches, and wiring changes are returned for updating
Instruct customer or end-user on system operation
Promote, maintain, and enhance new and existing customer relationships
Participate in education and training programs in electronic controls and energy conservation programming
Assist TAB, Commissioning and Service Technicians in verification of their system testing when required
Setup, program, and configure GUI/ host workstations
Panel fabrication, wire termination and wire installation as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 year post-secondary degree in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or HVAC or related field
2 or more years' experience and knowledge directly related to BAS
Proficiency in reading and understanding the following: ATC schematics, Mechanical plans, Architectural plans, Electrical plans
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with network configurations, 3rd party integrations
Good knowledge of Tridium
Good knowledge of mechanical equipment sequencing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Individual must possess a valid driver's license in good standing
Criminal Background Check, PA Child Welfare and FBI fingerprinting clearance required; other clearances as required by state/districts of job sites
DMV check
Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing during employment
Preferred
4 year degree with concentration in Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Advanced experience in the BAS industry
