Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location
Control access to the property by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or access credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in processes
Operate access control systems such as key control, visitor management logs, and badge issuance procedures in accordance with site-specific instructions
Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity, and escalate concerns per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or local responders as needed
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns
Complete required documentation such as access logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports with clear, timely, and accurate information
Support Allied Universal and site leadership with special access needs such as deliveries, after-hours access requests, and temporary access changes while following site-specific policies
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
