Responsibilities
Help build and implement global launches and news announcements for iOS and Apple’s core apps
Support creative events and initiatives that keep iOS top-of-mind
Identify and assist in the management of issues in continuous news cycles
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies that highlight the value of iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Apple services within a growing ecosystem of carrier services and offerings
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in public relations, PR agency or corporate settings
Preferred
Positive team-player who thrives working with others and is excited to represent Apple
Keen understanding of and passion for the consumer technology space
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus, simplify tasks, and manage multiple projects and programs from start to finish under pressure
Experience with product launches and creative PR campaigns — including social-first campaigns — that drive meaningful impact
Experience in media relations with a network of media contacts
Ability to effectively manage relationships and communications strategies with external partners/third parties
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with superb attention to detail
A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment, anticipate potential issues, and apply insights to the team's work
Effective collaborator who will work cross-functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times
