Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain Enterprise Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment that supports critical cybersecurity mission customers
Recommend technologies and approaches to improve platform performance and security, comply with security controls, and achieve system availability and reliability requirements
Provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management
Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network
Help the team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning
Share expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies
Identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help customers meet their needs

Qualification

Red Hat Enterprise LinuxProxmoxInfrastructure as CodeGitAWSPythonLinux firewallsNetworking configurationDNSBi-directional network transferDoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification

Required

3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Rocky
3+ years of experience with Proxmox
Experience with Git
Experience managing systems using Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Salt, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell, Chef, or Terraform
Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in a CS or IT field and 5+ years of experience with systems or network administration, or 10+ years of experience with systems or network administration in lieu of degree
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Preferred

Experience with AWS
Experience with virtual infrastructure migrations
Experience with Python
Knowledge of bi-directional network transfer systems
DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
