Responsibilities
Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
Create functional design solutions that meet user needs and business requirements
Participate in design reviews, planning, and design development processes
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
Collaborate with technical experts, subject matter experts, public outreach and marketing teams, public affairs content leads, and other stakeholders throughout the design and development process
Design responsive web pages that function seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Understand and execute design direction from the Lead Web Designer and Visual Communications Manager
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma for stakeholder review and developer handoff
Build component-based web pages in an enterprise Content Management System (CMS) following SOPs and best practices
Review page designs for accuracy and functionality in QA environments across multiple platforms and browsers
Assist with the design of digital marketing campaign assets, including advertisements and social media posts
Apply industry best practices in design production using standard design software
Maintain regular, clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, timelines, deliverables, issues, and processes
Collaborate with the Lead Web Designer to create and maintain UX and visual design guidelines, including contrast ratios, readability, and interactivity best practices
Collaborate with the Lead Web Designer and Front-End Developer to create and maintain design documentation and style guides for development teams
Assist in outlining business and functional requirements
Coordinate and track stakeholder input and approvals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, multimedia design, or a related field
One to three years of recent, relevant experience
A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Knowledge of production best practices for images, PDFs, and presentations to ensure optimal quality and performance
Ability to maintain visual identity across multiple mediums, adapting logos, colors, and typography as needed
Create organized, complete design files using standard folder structures, naming conventions, and version control to support efficient collaboration and future updates
Preferred
Experience designing, building, and updating content in enterprise content management systems
Experience creating responsive designs across multiple platforms
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience working within an in-house design team, with an emphasis on deep brand knowledge, long-term project development, and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to maintain visual consistency while understanding broader business operations
