Responsibilities
Oversee financial operating processes to deliver timely, accurate data for leadership decision-making
Provide system and data support for internal controls, compliance reviews, and audit requests
Partner with operations and controllership teams to deliver financial analysis and system insights
Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including ledger management and consolidation inputs
Coordinate close execution across enterprise finance platforms and regional teams
Resolve system integration issues, allocation discrepancies, and reconciliation challenges across finance modules
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve close processes through automation, tooling, and reporting enhancements
Support system enhancements, deployments, and testing activities, including mock and parallel closes
Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Five (5) or more years of experience in finance or accounting roles with a strong systems focus
Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience working with SAP Finance modules (FI/CO)
U.S. citizenship required due to regulatory or contractual obligations
Strong technical proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, business intelligence platforms, advanced Excel)
Solid understanding of core accounting and financial reporting principles
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Experience supporting finance operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Familiarity with advanced analytics or visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and compliance frameworks
