Responsibilities
Responsibilities include receiving and coding invoices, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, billing for CAM, reviewing and administering leases, etc
We have a property manager who deals with most of the tenants, but candidate will take care of the accounting piece. Occasionally, will work with contractors for a tenant improvement and oversee the work
Assist with the preparation of financial statements for board meetings
Review books, make journal entries, and reconcile accounts before sending books to accountants to prepare tax returns
We have many investments that you will assist with capital calls, etc
Administer charitable foundations
Go to bank, post office and other locations as needed and there is mileage reimbursement
Qualification
Required
Confidentiality is imperative as dealing with confidential information
Must be a self-starter and able to multitask and prioritize work
Must know QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Looking for someone with stability, mature, professional, strong communication skills, able to work independently, and multitask as every day is something different
Preferred
A degree is not required but preferred
If someone is a Property Accountant, that is a plus
