Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple application teams
Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using YAML-based pipelines
Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to integrate unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests into the pipeline
Manage and troubleshoot build and release processes, including build agents, environments, approvals, and pipeline execution issues
Implement and integrate security and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows (e.g., static code analysis, secret scanning, policy checks)
Drive adoption of Azure DevOps across teams including migration from legacy tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Jenkins to Azure DevOps
Manage Azure Repos, enforce Git branching strategies, and administer repository permissions and access controls
Integrate pipelines with external tools for scanning, testing, artifact management, and deployment automation
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (preferred)
3+ years of experience in a DevOps role focused on application build and deploy in CI/CD environments
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML)
Strong understanding of build and release pipelines
Strong understanding of approvals, gates, environments
Strong understanding of deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Azure Repos
Hands-on experience with Git branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based)
Hands-on experience with repository permissions and governance
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with external tools for static code analysis
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with external tools for secret scanning
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with external tools for test automation and quality gates
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with external tools for deployment and monitoring tools
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related analytical field OR equivalent practical experience
