Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
Control entry and exit at gates and/or access points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and driver check-in and/or check-out, issuing credentials as directed, and maintaining access logs
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders
Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity; and complete required written and/or electronic incident reports
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, dock areas, and perimeter; observe for policy violations or hazards; and report concerns to supervision per site procedures
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
