They are seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead engineering teams and business stakeholders in driving project execution and operational efficiency while aligning with company growth goals.

Responsibilities
Define and execute OSP engineering and operations strategy aligned with company revenue goals and growth plans
Scale operational capacity to support multiple clients, regions, and project types
Develop standardized service offerings, workflows, and delivery models
Own P&L responsibility for engineering and OSP operations
Manage budgets, job costing, margin performance, and cost controls
Improve estimating accuracy and cost-to-complete forecasting
Drive operational efficiency to increase gross margin and EBITDA
Support business development by shaping scopes, pricing models, and execution plans
Ensure client satisfaction through reliable delivery, transparency, and responsiveness
Act as an executive escalation point for client issues
Provide early communication on potential due date, interval, and/or budget slips along with corrective actions to the Executive leadership team
Align execution with client SLAs, KPIs, and reporting requirements
Support contract negotiations, change orders, and scope management
Oversee OSP engineering services including route planning, permitting, pole attachments, fiber design, and make-ready
Establish engineering standards, QA/QC processes, and design templates
Ensure designs are constructible, code-compliant, and aligned with client specifications
Manage engineering capacity, workload balancing, and schedule commitments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Fifteen years technical and management work related experience in the telecommunications industry with emphasis on transmission methods, OSP/ISP, optical networks, project management, and direct customer interface
Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in telecommunications and fiber optic construction (FTTH, OSP)
Ability to scale operational teams and tools to support client needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams
In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry, market dynamics, and emerging trends
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree
Ten years' experience with GIS system usage
