Responsibilities
Lead all financial audit processes, prepare all necessary audit paperwork, and coordinate with external auditors
Track investments and income, ensuring compliance
Prepare monthly roll-forwards and Net Asset Roll-Forwards (NARF) to ensure accurate tracking of net assets and financial position
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Conduct revenue reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and identify discrepancies
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
Provide timely financial reports and insights to the leadership team and board members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in nonprofit accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, financial audits, and investment accounting
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
