Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trial preparation
Develop case strategies
Engage in settlement negotiations
Be available to clients to discuss their cases and legal options
Stay current with relevant case law and procedural rules
Fully utilize our case management system (Filevine) to keep cases organized
Work with paralegals and other legal staff to ensure efficient case management
Qualification
Required
Attorney with 1 year minimum experience litigating personal injury cases
Member in good standing of the Florida Bar
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
At least one year of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience with case management software (Filevine a plus)
Bilingual (Eng/Span) a plus but not required
