Floating Teller Supervisor

Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations to support organizational goals
Protect and maintain branch assets, including facilities, equipment, and cash controls
Provide operational, technical, and procedural support to branches
Supervise and coach Teller and Service Transaction Specialist staff to ensure high performance and service excellence
Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services while monitoring cross‑selling performance
Deliver timely coaching and corrective action when needed
Conduct performance reviews and recommend promotions to the AVP of Branch Operations
Develop and maintain operational procedures in partnership with Risk Management
Perform account openings, account maintenance, and other platform functions
Review and submit branch audits and Operations Status records
Assess security needs and make recommendations to AVP of Operations
Communicate operational status, goals, and development priorities with branch teams
Support community outreach initiatives
Monitor corrections, outages, shared branching, and documentation accuracy; process operational reports
Maintain branch supplies, materials, equipment, and work areas
Monitor branch performance against organizational goals
Collaborate with Branch Operations and Marketing to increase membership and product awareness
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
General knowledge of credit union operations
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and organizational procedures
Excellent analytical reasoning, judgment, and problem‑solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills; multilingual skills a plus
Ability to represent the credit union professionally in the community
High level of confidentiality, organization, and ability to work independently
Proficiency in computer applications, spreadsheets, and documentation tools
Ability to work in a non‑smoking environment and travel to meetings or training
High school diploma or equivalent required
Some college in business or related field plus one year of management experience, OR
Three years of experience in a credit union, bank, or financial institution operations role, including two years of management experience
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Ability to drive a credit union vehicle
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
To be hired for this position the candidate must pass a drug screen and background check
