Responsibilities
Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base
Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and informs the Branch Manager
Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner
Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support
Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information
Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of customer service/sales experience
Excellent phone and customer-facing experience
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (EXCEL required)
Preferred
Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware
