Responsibilities

Assist the Branch Leader in the daily operations of the branch, including overseeing teller activities, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a secure and efficient work environment
Provide exceptional Member service by addressing Member inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting Credit Union products and services
Coach, mentor, and develop branch staff, providing regular feedback, assist with performance reviews, and identify training needs
Assist in achieving branch sales and service goals by actively participating in sales campaigns, promoting products and services, and tracking performance metrics
Ensure compliance with all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to branch operations, Member accounts, and sales activities
Participate in community outreach events and activities to promote the Credit Union and build relationships with local businesses and organizations
Assist with scheduling staff, managing branch inventory, and ordering supplies
Handle member complaints and resolve complex issues, escalating to the Branch Leader when necessary
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations
Responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and maintaining business continuity

Required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a customer-facing role
Experience with financial products and services, including lending, deposit accounts, and investments
Experience handling cash and balancing transactions
Experience in resolving customer issues and complaints

Preferred

Retail banking experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of success in sales and service
Experience in leading and motivating a team
