Responsibilities
Primarily assist with contracting and documentation for support of Wellington’s Client Platform including drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment management agreements, amendments, ancillary documentation, RFPs and nondisclosure agreements
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Advisory Legal team and business development and relationship management professionals
Collaborate with other members of the Legal team as necessary in connection with contracting work
Assisting with complex issues arising on documentation and helping to establish controls and processes where required
Support the development and implementation of technology solutions in relation to the contracting process, including AI and Microsoft Suite Power Apps
Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, design and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree minimum required
Must have experience negotiating contracts
Preferred
Must come from Financial Services companies (Asset Management firms highly preferred)
Experience or exposure to NDAs and RFPs preferred
