Responsibilities
Directs maintenance team through daily and weekly meetings and using CMMS for work assignments
Identifies and completes projects with the Production, Maintenance, and EHS staff on-time and under budget
Oversees and manages preventative maintenance using a CMMS to eliminate machinery breakdowns and maximize equipment availability
Analyzes problems and directs repairs by scheduling maintenance personnel and ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
Develops and manages staffing and hours to support the production schedule and maximize production output across 2 sites (separated by 2 blocks)
Continually monitors and analyze maintenance downtime and Production runtime data using local equipment readouts and online reporting tools
Coordinates contractors and outside vendor activities to meet site needs including lawn and snow removal
Successful candidates will have the potential to progress into additional leadership roles
Set goals and objectives for all maintenance team associates based on plant KPIs and trains/performance manages the team to achieve success
Qualification
Required
Have a minimum of an associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
Have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
Be able to work weekends and respond after hours for equipment issues or projects when needed
Have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate with different levels of the company
Be computer savvy and have hands-on experience with maintenance management systems to guide ongoing improvements
Be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and walk, bend, and stoop throughout the day
