Responsibilities
Represent our clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, and related proceedings
Conduct client consultations, case evaluations, and develop legal strategies
Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other legal documents
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Manage an active caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining high professional standards
Stay current on Ohio family law statutes, rules, and case law
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar
2-5+ years of family law experience preferred (litigation experience strongly desired)
Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with contested custody and divorce matters
Courtroom confidence and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a legal team
